Josiah R. Hollister (possibly Elijah)
Revolutionary War Veteran with ties to Cattaraugus County.
Life: Lived and died in Mansfield, NY. Originally from Cairo, NY, he moved to Franklinville (1811), Great Valley, and finally Mansfield (1821).
Service: Elijah served as a private and Sergeant in the Connecticut Continentals.
Pension: Began March 4, 1831, at age 89.
