This photo from the Block Bothers factory in the Town of Great Valley gives you some idea of the number of cheese boxes made and delivered in the townships. Many townships had these box making factories. The boxes were delivered to cheese factories filled with cheeses and then shipped to market. Thousands and thousands of cheese boxes were made in towns throughout Cattaraugus County.
